Christian Singles is free to use, and free accounts are supported by ads. This page explains how ads work, who sees them and how you stay in control.
1. Who sees ads
- Free accounts see a full-screen ad after every few profiles they swipe on (we choose how often, and can change it or switch ads off at any time).
- Plus pass holders see no ads while their pass is active.
- Ads are never shown during a chat, on the sign-up, consent or safety screens, on payment screens, over a match celebration, or in a way that blocks you from using Report or Block.
2. Who provides the ads
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Sometimes, when AdMob has no ad to show, we may show a full-screen promotion of our own instead. Ads are labelled by the ad provider. We do not endorse advertisers and are not responsible for what they offer; report an ad that seems harmful, misleading or inappropriate to support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com with a screenshot.
3. What data ads use
- Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier, your IP address, device information and how you interact with ads to show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud.
- We do not give advertisers your name, email, photos, messages, location, profile or faith details. Your faith details and your Christian affirmation are never used to choose or target ads.
- We do not sell your personal data.
4. Your choices
- Consent form. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region where it is required, Google shows a consent form before any ad is requested. If you decline, ads are limited, or not shown, as the law requires.
- Change your mind. In the app go to Settings > Ad privacy choices (shown where it applies) to review or change your choice.
- Device settings. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, and switch off ad personalisation, in your phone's settings (on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Remove ads. Buy a Plus pass (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy).
5. Test ads
While the app is being tested, the ads you see are clearly labelled test ads supplied by Google.
6. More information
