Groups are spaces inside Christian Singles where members read and write threads and replies. Some groups are free and some charge a one-time joining fee. These terms apply to paid groups, on top of the Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Joining a paid group
- The joining fee, its currency and what it covers are shown on the group page before you pay. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription: there is nothing to cancel and no later charge.
- Before you pay you must read and accept the group's rules. If the rules change in a meaningful way, you are asked to accept them again before you can post.
- You get access only after the payment provider confirms your payment to us. If confirmation is delayed, the app shows "waiting" and then updates itself; if a payment succeeded but access did not appear, write to support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com and we will fix it or refund you.
- Groups have a member limit. If a group is full or closed, you cannot join, and we do not take payment for it.
2. Leaving and rejoining
You can leave a paid group at any time. If you leave, or you are removed, you must pay the joining fee again to come back. Leaving does not earn a refund (apart from your legal right to withdraw within 14 days where it applies; see the Refund and Cancellation Policy). Your earlier posts stay in the group, shown with your name, until you delete them or delete your account (then they are shown as "Deleted user").
3. Removal by a leader or moderator
Group leaders can hide posts and mute or remove members of their own group; our moderators can act on any group. A removal for breaking the rules is not refunded. Staff members (our moderators and administrators) cannot be removed or muted by a group leader. If you think you were removed unfairly, you can appeal (Moderation and Appeals); if we decide the removal was wrong, we restore your access or refund the fee.
4. If we close a group
If we close a paid group ourselves, every member who paid receives a full refund to the payment method used. You do not need to ask. Refunds can take 5 to 10 business days to appear. Closed groups' content is no longer shown.
5. What a group is not
- A joining fee pays for access to the group space on Christian Singles. It is not a donation, a membership of any church or organisation, a purchase of services from the group's leader, or a promise that the group will have a certain amount of activity.
- Group leaders are members chosen by us; they are not our employees and cannot make promises on our behalf. Leaders must not ask members for money, sell things or recruit for any other organisation. Report a leader who does.
- What members post in a group is their own. Members of a group can see each other's names and posts in that group. The group's leader can see the member list (names only). Do not share private information about yourself or others.
6. Leading a group
If we appoint you as a leader, you agree to apply the rules fairly and consistently, to keep members' information private, to use your tools only for moderating your group, to record a short reason when you hide content or remove someone, and to tell us about anything that needs our moderators (threats, child safety, scams). We can remove a leader at any time.
