Christian Singles is built and looked after by a small team. If you would like to help us keep it running, you can make a voluntary gift in the app (Profile > Support us). This policy explains exactly what a gift is.
1. A gift is voluntary and unlocks nothing
- No one has to give. The app works the same whether you give or not, and we will never pressure you.
- A gift gives you no feature, status, badge, visibility, priority, or other benefit, and it is never shown to other members. There is no donor list or wall of supporters.
- You choose any amount between the minimum and maximum shown in the app. Amounts are shown in your currency (Naira or US dollars).
2. What your gift is, and is not
- A gift is a voluntary payment to GoSharp Global Services Ltd, a business. It is not a donation to a registered charity or non-profit, it is not tax-deductible, and we do not issue tax receipts or deduction certificates. A payment receipt from the payment provider is sent to you.
- Gifts are used to run and improve Christian Singles (servers, safety, moderation and development). We do not promise to use a gift for a particular purpose.
- A gift is not an investment, loan or purchase of a product or service and does not make you a shareholder, partner or customer with special rights.
3. Refunds
Gifts are one-time and not refundable, except for a billing error or a duplicate charge, or where the law gives you a right to a refund. Write to support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com from your account email, with the subject "Gift refund", the date and the amount, and we will put it right. A refunded gift is returned to the payment method you used.
4. Safe giving
- Payments are handled by independent payment providers (Stripe, Paystack and Flutterwave). We never see or store your card number.
- Never give because another member asked you to. Members must never ask other members for money, and a gift to Christian Singles is never a way to help or reward another member. If someone tells you otherwise, report them.
- Only give an amount you are comfortable with and that is yours to give. If you are under 18 you may not use the app.
5. Your data
We record the amount, currency, date, status and payment reference of your gift against your account, to thank you, account for it, fix errors and handle disputes. See the Privacy Policy.
