Child Safety Standards

Christian Singles has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Effective 26 October 2026 · Version 1.0 · Operated by GoSharp Global Services Ltd

1. Our standards

  • Adults only. Christian Singles is for people aged 18 and over. Every person confirms this before an account is created, and the date of birth is checked by our servers, which refuse anyone under 18.
  • Prohibited. Any content, conversation, image or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, grooms or endangers a child, any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), any attempt to contact, solicit or meet a minor, sextortion, and any content that normalises abuse of children, is banned and removed. This applies to real people and to drawings, AI-generated or edited images.
  • Accounts that appear to belong to a minor are suspended straight away and removed. Photos that may show a minor are hidden from other members until a person has reviewed them.
  • No exceptions. No member, group leader, moderator or staff member may break these standards. Staff who do are removed and reported.

2. How people can report

  • In the app: open any conversation, profile or group post, tap the menu, choose Report, and pick They seem to be under 18 (or another reason). Reports about a possible minor go to the top of our review queue.
  • By email: support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com with the subject "Child safety". You do not need an account. Please include a link or screenshot if you can. Do not forward images of child sexual abuse; describe where it is and we will deal with it.
  • Authorities and child-protection organisations can use the same address, and we answer their lawful requests promptly.

3. What we do when we find it

  1. Act at once. A report about a possible minor or about CSAM is reviewed first, normally within 24 hours and usually much sooner. We hide the content and suspend the account while we review.
  2. Remove and preserve. We remove the content and close the account, and preserve the information that is lawful and necessary for an investigation (the content, account details, messages, IP addresses and times) in a restricted store.
  3. Report. We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities and organisations without delay, as the law requires and as good practice demands. Depending on where the content or the people involved are, that includes the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the police or child-protection agency of the country concerned (for example the relevant law-enforcement cybercrime unit). We cooperate with law-enforcement requests and legal process.
  4. Block returns. We prevent the person from opening new accounts with the same email address and take steps against repeat attempts.
  5. Review and learn. Each case is reviewed afterwards to see whether our tools or rules need to change.

People, not automated systems, decide whether to ban an account. Where a report is made in good faith, the reporter is not penalised, even if it turns out to be mistaken.

4. How we prevent it

  • The age gate is enforced in our database, not only in the app, so a modified app cannot get around it.
  • Uploaded photos are checked for signs that the person may be under 18, and a moderator also reviews a random sample. A suspected minor's photo is hidden until a person reviews it.
  • Block and Report are on every conversation, profile and group post, with rate limits to stop misuse.
  • Public text (prayer requests, testimonies, group posts) is read before it appears or is checked for contact details, which also reduces grooming risk.
  • Moderators are trained to treat reports of possible minors as the highest priority and have written procedures for urgent cases.
  • We comply with the child-safety laws that apply where the app is offered, including laws on reporting.

5. For parents and guardians

If your child is under 18 and has an account, or someone is contacting your child through Christian Singles, tell us at once at support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com (subject "Child safety") and we will act within 24 hours. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

6. Child-safety contact

Our designated contact for child-safety matters, including from authorities, child-protection organisations and Google Play: support@christiansingles.zeeckgroup.com (GoSharp Global Services Ltd). We aim to respond within 5 business days, and urgent reports involving a child at risk are handled first.
