Community Guidelines

Effective 26 October 2026 · Version 1.0 · Operated by GoSharp Global Services Ltd

Christian Singles is a place for Christians to meet each other with honesty, respect and kindness. These Guidelines are the Code of Conduct you agree to at sign-up. They are part of the Terms of Use.

1. Be who you say you are

  • Use your own name, your own photos and true details (age, relationship status, faith). Do not impersonate anyone.
  • You must be 18 or older. Never create, or help someone create, an account for a minor.
  • One account per person. No fake, duplicate, test or commercial accounts.
  • Your faith confirmation at sign-up is a sincere statement that you are a Christian. We do not test it; please do not use the community to mock, debate, convert or deceive people about faith.

2. Respect people

  • No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation or repeated contact after someone says no or stops replying.
  • No hate or discrimination because of race, ethnicity, nationality, caste, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, denomination or any similar trait.
  • No sexual messages, nudity or sexually explicit images, and no pressure for them. Always get consent before talking about sex or expressing sexual interest; if someone does not reciprocate, stop.
  • No violence, glorifying violence, self-harm encouragement or dangerous challenges. If someone says they may hurt themselves, point them to local emergency or crisis services.
  • Do not share anyone's private information or images without consent, including screenshots of private chats.

3. Protect everyone from scams and abuse

  • Never ask for, send or collect money, gifts, gift cards, airtime, crypto or investments. No "opportunities", loans, fundraising or business pitches.
  • Do not push people to another app, link or phone number early, or to leave the Service to avoid its safety tools.
  • Public text must stay free of contact details. Prayer requests, testimonies, faith-journey lines and group posts must not contain phone numbers, email addresses, links, social-media handles or bank details, even disguised. We read these texts before they appear and decline ones that do.
  • Do not use the Service to advertise, spam, recruit, sell, or to promote political campaigns or other organisations.
  • No illegal activity, and nothing that exploits or endangers a child. Child sexual abuse material or any attempt to contact a minor leads to immediate removal and reporting to the authorities (Child Safety Standards).

4. Prayer requests, testimonies and groups

  • Prayer requests and testimonies are for sharing real needs and real stories in a few short lines. Keep them respectful and truthful; no preaching at others, no accusations about named people, no health or personal details about third parties.
  • Moderators read them before they appear and may decline them with a reason, or hide them later if they are reported.
  • In groups, follow the group's own rules as well as these. Group leaders may remove posts, mute or remove members for breaking them. Leaders must treat members fairly and must not use their role to pressure, solicit or exclude people unfairly.

5. Photos

Your photos must show you, be recent, and be suitable for a general audience. No nudity, no minors, no photos of other people without their consent, no weapons, no illegal items, no watermarks or contact details. We check photos with automated tools and moderators and may remove those that break the rules.

6. Use the tools

Use Report and Block whenever something feels wrong. Reports are confidential: the person is not told who reported them. Do not file false or bad-faith reports. Do not try to get around a block, suspension or removal.

7. What happens if the rules are broken

We may remove content, send a warning, limit features, suspend or close an account, and in serious cases report to the authorities. We try to act in proportion to what happened. You can appeal; see Moderation and Appeals. Some conduct (such as child exploitation, credible threats or fraud) leads to immediate removal without warning.
